i'm back in bentonville. after staying at katie's and then julie's, i am hibernating in my own room for the first time in quite awhile. i went to louisiana for the first time ever with katie. us phi lamb softball girls are gearing up for the games with some batting cage action--oh heavens. anne turned 21 (even though she doesn't look anything close to that age!). i enjoy laughing with the michalls and the reavis families; they are a hoot. photo shoots happened everywhere, from downtown to bringle lake. praise the Lord for such a passion that's visible and memorable. i'm learning more and more about my place in the world (not of it), where the Lord has me for the time being.
and i'm learning how the Lord will meet me wherever i am, at whatever point i am on my journey. and how the journey unfolds will be guided by the final destination that i know already. the Lord is so good.
can i just point out how much i've missed kennedy's? i'm savoring the workers and the chai tea latte and my dear friend kyle who i can just sit and talk with for two hours about life. what a simple pleasure--sipping a drink and chatting. i like stringing along moments like those for rainy days.
but for now, i jump for joy (with my texarkana favorites). i love you.
